A graduate of Glasgow School of Art. Portraiture is my first love. I painted passengers’ portraits on cruise ships around Caribbean South America before setting up a studio in Helensburgh.
Later qualifying as an art teacher at Moray House College, I taught art in secondary schools in the Lothians. We built a studio in our house in Tayvallich, Argyll where the landscape and islands are a constant source of inspiration.
I work in a range of media and subject matter and exhibit
in public and private collections and exhibitions here and abroad.
Happy to undertake commissions I will paint your portrait
in a setting of your choice in oil or pastel or watercolour.Till September 6th 2020 exhibiting with Paisley Art Institute on their very successful first on-line gallery exhibition.
Visit my studio where you are most welcome.
